NOTES: Seeing at the 3 to 5/10. Steady enough for an eyepopping look at the Apennines on the terminator. Can't do it justice with this image, but you will know where to aim on the 7 day Moon. I ask guests to find 5 things on the Moon: craters, plains, mountains, rays, and if they are lucky, rilles. The Hyginus and Ariadaeus Rilles cut the lower left corner. Cropped from 1/50 sec frame. Camera and scope as before. Sharpened at the 0.6 pixel and then 8 pixel scale. Peaks were straight out of Chesley Bonestell's moonscapes.
