Foxpark, Wyoming

Directions (~2hr drive from Fort Collins)

• Travel north on US-287 to I-80 in Laramie, WY

• Take I-80 west 1.4 miles to Exit #311

• Follow WY-130/Snowy Range Rd 0.8mi west and take the WY-230 fork to the left

• Travel west 34mi on WY-230 (~9mi past Woods Landing) to Forest Road 512.

• Turn north/right and follow dirt road ~2mi to gate at entrance to Foxpark. (Google map to here)

• Turn left and proceed west ~0.4mi; turn right onto dirt road and drive into clearing.

• A second clearing through the trees to the northeast is the favored site (farther from the road)

Comments

• VERY dark sky site

• ~9100 ft (2770m) elevation - COLD even in summer

• Occasional ATV on road near south field

• Restrooms near entrance (at south field)

• Readily accessible only in summer, June - September
